OL Reign Unveil New 2022 Secondary “Honor” Jersey

OL Reign revealed its 2022 jerseys for the National Women’s Soccer League season today. This reveal featured a brand new 2022 secondary jersey named Honor.

The Honor kit was designed to honor a decade of Reign excellence and world-class soccer, along with the players who have helped to develop OL Reign into the club it is over the last ten years. The body of the kit is solid white, with a red and blue stripe down the front of the kit that features the names of Reign players who have represented the team since its inaugural season in 2013.

The kit design is punctuated by a red vertical stripe on the right and blue down the left and around the sleeve of each side. A ChromaFlex OL Reign badge sits adjacent to the iconic Nike swoosh in gold, which is visually complemented by a gold accent at the front of the jersey. The inner neck panel features the word “BOLD” as OL Reign always strives to be bold, on and off the field.

OL Reign will keep Hope as its primary jersey. The bright blue body, which extends through to the jersey’s left sleeve, is punctuated by a darker blue “claw”, which emerges from the right sleeve. As with the Honor jersey, the Hope jersey features a ChromaFlex OL Reign badge. The inner neck panel features the club’s slogan—Fortune Favors the Bold—in French: La Fortune Sourit Aux Audacieux.

Both 2022 jerseys will feature a commemorative 10th anniversary patch on the lower right side of the jersey and are available in youth, regular and narrow sizes. Jerseys are available for pre-order now, by visiting https://www.olreignshop.com/collections/jersey. The tentative ship date for pre-ordered jerseys is May 2022.

OL Reign will continue with the Black Future Co-op Fund featured on the front of the primary and secondary jerseys, until such time that the club secures a new presenting sponsor. OL Reign and the Black Future Co-op Fund began their partnership in 2020, when the club played on behalf of the organization during the 2020 NWSL Fall Series, during which it raised more than $15,000 for the organization.

In 2021, OL Reign and the Black Future Co-op Fund continued their work together and the Black Future Co-op Fund was featured front and center on OL Reign’s kits. Notably, OL Reign and the Black future Co-op Fund collaborated for the Nationwide Community Impact Award campaign. Through this campaign, the Black Future Co-op Fund was named OL Reign’s community partner and received a total donation to $25,000 from Nationwide.

In conjunction with the release of its 2022 jerseys, the club will continue its valued partnership with Boeing. The Boeing logo will once again be featured on the back of the primary and secondary jerseys, directly below the numbers.

Boeing will continue to sponsor the Boeing Scholarship program, launched in 2020 to begin addressing the underrepresentation of girls of color in youth soccer. The program covers the full cost of participation fees in OL Reign Academy for two players of color during the upcoming 2022/2023 season.

Join OL Reign for our Home Opener at Lumen Field on Friday, March 18 as we celebrate the beginning of our tenth season with our first Challenge Cup match against rivals Portland Thorns FC at 7:00 p.m. PT. Tickets are available now, starting at just $20.
