OL Reign Announces Roster Ahead of 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup
OL Reign has announced its 26-player roster ahead of the 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup, kicking off on Friday, March 18, against Portland Thorns FC at Lumen Field.
OL Reign currently has 23 players under contract for the 2022 season and three players selected in the NWSL College Draft who are currently not signed to a contract– defender Ryanne Brown and midfielders Marley Canales and Olivia van der Jagt.
There were two changes made to OL Reign’s roster since the last roster update on March 2. Goalkeeper Cosette Morché was transferred to Grand Paris Seine Ouest 92 Issy in the French D1 Arkema on March 3 and defender Madison Hammond was traded to Angel City FC on March 11, in exchange for Angel City’s natural second round pick in the 2023 NWSL Draft and $45,000 in allocation money.
The club is currently utilizing two international slots—one for Mexican international Jimena López and one for newly signed Hungarian international Zsani Kaján.
OL Reign’s first Challenge Cup match is only days away. Tickets are available now to watch the team kickoff its 2022 campaign at Lumen Field on Friday, March 18 at 7:00 p.m. PT against the Portland Thorns.
