2022 Lookback: Every Goal Bethany Balcer Scored
Forward Bethany Balcer appeared in 20 games for OL Reign throughout the regular season. All seven of her goals were scored from inside the box. She scored her first goal of the regular season on May 25 and continued to add to her final tally until OL Reign’s final regular season match in October.

May 25, 2022, against the Kansas City Current
Balcer scored the lone goal of the match against the Current on a cross served into the box from defender Sofia Huerta. Balcer got her head on the end of it, powerfully placing it to the back post.
June 18, 2022, against Angel City FC
Perfectly positioned, Bachelor scored her second goal of the season on a one touch follow up from an Angel City clearance, sending the home fans at Lumen field into a frenzy as OL Reign took the lead.
July 1, 2022, against the North Carolina Courage
Reading the play well, Balcer received a through ball from midfielder Jess Fishlock, beating North Carolina’s defense as she tapped the ball into the back of the net.
July 10, 2022, against Portland Thorns FC
Balcer equalized for the Reign against their biggest rival, using her head once again to beat the oppositions defense.
August 26, 2022, against the Orlando Pride
Equalizing for OL Reign once more, Balcer’s diving header off a cross from forward Megan Rapinoe was a stunner, jumpstarting the Reign’s comeback win.
September 24, 2022, against the Houston Dash
Taking the lead for the Reign, Balcer was in the box to clean up, hitting the ball to the back post, beyond the reach of Houston’s goalkeeper.
October 1, 2022, against the Orlando Pride
In OL Reign’s final regular season match of the year, Balcer scored the team’s third goal. Her showstopping volley came after a stunning assist from midfielder Jess Fishlock.
