Yanez Suspended for One Match

The National Women’s Soccer League Disciplinary Committee has issued a one-game suspension to Reign FC midfielder Bev Yanez for an on-field incident in the club’s Sunday, September 29 match against Portland Thorns FC. Following a review by the committee, Yanez was determined to have committed misconduct in the 48th minute of the match.

Yanez will serve her suspension during the club’s final regular season match against the Orlando Pride on Saturday, October 12. The suspension is not subject to appeal.

Yanez will be eligible for Reign FC’s NWSL semifinal match on Sunday, October 20.
