OL Reign Acquire 3rd Round Pick from North Carolina Courage

OL Reign has acquired North Carolina’s natural 3rd Round Pick in the 2022 NWSL Draft in return for the rights to defender Schuyler DeBree. OL Reign had previously permitted DeBree to train with NC during the 2021 NWSL preseason.

OL Reign originally signed DeBree on July 15, 2019, after the defender departed Czech side AC Sparta Praha. DeBree did not make an appearance for OL Reign during its 2019 season. In January 2020, DeBree requested and was granted Player Elected Leave for the 2020 season.

OL Reign now holds five picks in the 2022 NWSL Draft, including its natural 3rd and 4th round selections, Portland’s 1st round pick, KC’s 2nd round pick, and North Carolina’s 3rd round pick.
