W-League Round Up Week 10

The Australian W-League wrapped up its tenth week of play on Sunday, January 19. Six Reign FC players saw the pitch for their respective sides.

Lydia Williams, Steph Catley, and Lauren Barnes all started for Melbourne City in a 2-0 win over the Newcastle Jets. Williams made two saves, keeping her sixth clean sheet of the season. Barnes completed 73 of her 79 passes and made four interceptions in a 90-minute performance, while Catley took two shots and added three interceptions of her own before subbing off in the 69th minute.

Darian Jenkins notched an assist for Melbourne Victory FC in a 3-0 win over Adelaide United and new teammate Julia Ashley on Sunday, January 19. Jenkins headed in a cross from the right alley to tee up a volley for Natasha Dowie in the 81st minute for the final goal of the contest. Ashley made six clearances in a 90-minute performance for Adelaide.

Morgan Andrews started and played the full 90 minutes for Perth Glory in a 3-1 loss to Western Sydney Wanderers FC. Andrews made four clearances and took two shots in the loss.
