Starting XI: Seattle Reign FC at Bay FC
Seattle Reign FC Head Coach Laura Harvey fields the sixth unique lineup of the season on the road against Bay FC. The match kicks off at 7:00 p.m. PT on ION.
Back-to-back in the NWSL standings, Reign FC and Bay FC enter the match level on points, with two wins, two losses and one draw apiece. This is the third all-time meeting between the two teams, as Bay entered the league last season.
Lineup Notes:
There is just one change to the lineup from the Reign’s previous match against Portland – Midfielder Ji slots in for Nérilia Mondesir, who is unavailable for tonight’s match.
Goalkeeper Claudia Dickey, defenders Jordyn Bugg, Madison Curry and Phoebe McClernon, and forward Maddie Dahlien all earn their sixth consecutive start of the season.
Forward Lynn Biyendolo, who provided the game-winning assist on Dahlien’s goal against Portland, makes her second career start for the Reign. This is the second consecutive match that Biyendolo, Dahlien and Jordyn Huitema are starting up top together.
Defender Phoebe McClernon continues her regular season appearance streak, reaching six starts this season and 41 consecutive matches played for the Reign.
Defender and captain Lauren Barnes makes her third consecutive start of the season as she approaches a record-breaking milestone of 20,000 minutes played.
