Seven OL Reign Players Called Up for February FIFA Window

OL Reign players Alana Cook, Sofia Huerta, Rose Lavelle, Quinn, Jess Fishlock, Jimena López and Angelina have been called up to their national teams for the February FIFA window, running until February 23.

Cook, Huerta and Lavelle have all been called up for the United States. The team will be competing in the SheBelieves Cup alongside the Czech Republic, New Zealand and Iceland. The teams will compete on February 17 and 20 at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California and February 23 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.

Cook, who will be competing in her first SheBelieves Cup, was most recently called into the January camp for the U.S. WNT and has four caps. Huerta was also called into January camp and has nine caps for the U.S. Lavelle, the 2021 SheBelieves Cup MVP, has earned 68 caps and has scored 18 goals for the United States.

Quinn has been called into the Canadian Nation Team to compete in the inaugural Arnold Clark Cup competition in England. The 2020 Olympic gold medalists will compete against England, Germany and Spain. Quinn has 73 caps and five goals for Canada.

Fishlock and the Wales National Team will be competing in the Pinatar Cup. The eight-team tournament features Wales, Scotland, Belgium, Slovakia, Russia, Poland, Republic of Ireland and Hungary. Fishlock has amassed 129 caps for Wales and most recently played with Wales for the squad’s World Cup qualifying matches in November.

López joins Mexico Women’s National Team for two Concacaf qualifying matches for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, where Mexico will take on Suriname and Antigua and Barbuda. López has 27 caps for Mexico, most recently playing for the team in November.

Angelina and the Brazil National Team are playing in the Tournoi de France. They will be playing matches against the Netherlands, France and Finland. Angelina has nine caps for Brazil, most recently playing the team in December.
