Seattle Reign FC Starting XI vs. Club Tijuana - Summer Cup

Seattle Reign FC Head Coach Laura Harvey fields a new lineup as the Reign take on Club Tijuana at 3:00 p.m. PT at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington in the NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup. 

  • Harvey has made four changes to the Starting XI from the Reign’s opening Summer Cup match against Utah – defenders Jordyn Bugg and Lily Woodham and midfielders Angharad James-Turner and Sam Meza have slotted into the lineup. 

  • Defender Jordyn Bugg is set to make her professional debut after signing with the team on July 19. 

  • First-year midfielder Sam Meza gets her first start with the club after making her NWSL debut last week against Utah. 

  • Midfielder Olivia Athens gets her second consecutive start after scoring the opening goal of the tournament from the penalty spot in the 43rd minute last week. 

  • The average age of Starting XI is 24.18, exactly one year younger than last week against Utah.
