Seattle Reign FC Goalkeeper Claudia Dickey Nominated for Save of the Week

Seattle Reign FC goalkeeper Claudia Dickey has been nominated for NWSL Impact Save of Week, presented by Deloitte. Dickey’s double save in the 71st minute of the Reign’s match on Sunday was critical in the Reign’s 1-1 draw against Utah Royals FC.  

Dickey finished the match with seven saves, tying her single-game career high. This season, Dickey is unbeaten in all four of her starts at home, earning two clean sheets and conceding just two goals. Her showstopping save first denied Dana Foederer, then Hannah Betfort off the goal line to keep the Reign in the match. 

Dickey is nominated alongside three other goalkeepers – Portland Thorns FC’s Shelby Hogan, Orlando’s Anna Morehouse and Utah’s Mandy Haught.
