Day in Photos: 2023 Fan Appreciation Match, presented by BECU

Yesterday, Sunday, September 3, OL Reign hosted its annual Fan Appreciation Match presented by BECU. The action-packed match drew the Reign’s second largest regular season crowd of all time, with 10, 106 fans cheering the team on to victory. 

On the field, OL Reign downed the Pride by one goal, getting back into the win column and collecting three points at a crucial point of the season. Similar to last year’s Fan Appreciation Match, forward Jordyn Huitema scored the opening goal of the match. This year, Huitema’s goal made all the difference, as OL Reign took down the Pride by a score of 1-0. 

Off the field, OL Reign’s fans showed up and showed out! The day featured a variety of giveaways, from water bottles and Reign gear to ticket packages and exciting experiences. Our matches wouldn’t be the same without the support of the best fans in the world – you!
