2023 NWSL Draft
The 2023 NWSL Draft is taking place today, Thursday, January 12 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. OL Reign currently holds three picks in the draft. Here’s a breakdown of all of information you need to know to follow along:
When is the Draft?
The Draft takes place today, Thursday, January 12, beginning at 3:00 p.m. PT and concluding at 8:00 p.m. PT.
Where is Draft taking place?
The Draft is being held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
How can I watch the Draft?

The Draft can be watched live on CBS Sports Network, Paramount+ and CBS Sports HQ from 3:00 p.m. PT to 4:00 p.m. PT. The live coverage will then continue on Paramount+ and CBS Sports HQ from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

How does the Draft work?
The draft consists of 48 total selections divided into four rounds, with 12 picks in each round. In Round 1, teams will have five minutes to make their pick, while Round 2-4 only allow three minutes for teams to make their selection. Players eligible to be selected are those who have registered for the Draft and have been vetted as meeting the eligibility requirements by the League
Additionally, each team has three time-outs available during the Draft for further discussion, rule clarification or trade discussion. These time-outs, regardless of round, will be three minutes in length.
