Eight OL Reign Players to Play During International Break

OL Reign has eight players set to play in matches with their international teams over the break. Four players – Alana Cook, Sofia Huerta, Rose Lavelle and Megan Rapinoe – will play with the United States Women’s National Team, while two players – Jordyn Huitema and Quinn – will play with the Canadian National Team. In addition, Jimena Lopez will join the Mexican National Team and Jess Fishlock will join the Wales National Team.

The U.S. Women’s National Team will play two friendly matches against Nigeria over the international break. Every player from the 23-player roster will suit up for both matches. The first match is on Saturday, September 3 in Kansas City and the second match is on Tuesday, September 6 in Washington, D.C.

The Mexico Women’s National Team will play two friendly matches, first against New Zealand then against Angel City FC over the break. The first match will take place on Friday, September 2 and the second on Monday, September 5. Both matches will take place in California.

The Canadian National Team will play a two-match away series again Australia. The first match will take place in Brisbane on Friday, September 2 and the second match will take place in Sydney on Tuesday, September 6.

The Wales National Team continues their 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers against Greece and Slovenia. The team first places Greece on Friday, September 2 before traveling back to Wales to play Slovenia on Tuesday, September 6.
