Day in Photos: Kick Breast Cancer Presented by MultiCare

Last Saturday, October 1, OL Reign hosted Orlando fans in their last regular season match of 2022. The match was the team’s first Kick Breast Cancer Presented by MultiCare themed match!

On the field, OL Reign cruised by Orlando in a dominant 3-0 win, in front of a record-breaking crowd at Lumen Field. This win was backed by some important results around the rest of the league, resulting in OL Reign’s third ever NWSL Shield win. Finishing in first place in the NWSL standings was huge for OL Reign, as the team earned a first-round bye and will host a semifinal match at Lumen Field on October 23.

Off the field, the Kick Breast Cancer theme turned Lumen Field pink. Breast cancer survivors and physicians were honored with on-field experiences and there were theme match giveaways at all entrances of Lumen Field and activities on the concourse. The match also featured exclusive pink merchandise and an auction raising funds for the non-profit Come Walk With Me as a part of a month-long fundraising effort in October with proceeds going to the MultiCare Good Samaritan Foundation to directly support access to programs and services for those battling breast cancer.
