Eight OL Reign Players Called up to National Teams in October

OL Reign has eight players set to play in matches with their national teams over the international break. Alana Cook, Sofia Huerta, Rose Lavelle and Megan Rapinoe will play with the United States Women’s National Team, while Jordyn Huitema and Quinn will play with the Canadian National Team. In addition, Jimena Lopez will join the Mexican National Team and Jess Fishlock will join the Wales National Team.

A full schedule of the matches can be found below.

The U.S. Women’s National Team will play two friendly matches over the break. The first match is to be played at Wembley Stadium against England on Friday, October 7 and the second friendly match will be against Spain on Tuesday, October 11.

The Mexico Women’s National Team will play one friendly match over the break, against Chile on Monday, October 10.

The Canadian National Team will play two matches as part of the International Football Festival in Cádiz, Spain. They first take on Argentina on Thursday, October 6 and then Morocco on Monday, October 10.

The Wales National Team looks to earn first appearance at the finals of a major tournament with a match against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday, October 6. If Wales wins the match, they will advance to play Switzerland on Tuesday, October 11.

10:30 a.m. PT – Canada vs. Argentina – Estadio Sanluqueño, Cádiz, Spain

11:15 a.m. PT – Wales vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina – Cardiff City Stadium, Cardiff, Wales

 

Friday, October 7

12:00 p.m. PT – USWNT vs. England – Wembley Stadium, London, England

 

Monday, October 10

7:30 a.m. – Canada vs. Morocco – Estadio Municipal de Chapín, Jerez de la Frontera

2:00 p.m. PT – Mexico vs. Chile – Cancha Centenario, Coapa, Mexico City, Mexico

 

Tuesday, October 11

10:00 a.m. PT – Wales vs. Switzerland – Stadion Letzigrund, Zurich, Switzerland (If Wales wins against Bosnia and Herzegovina)

11:30 a.m. PT – USWNT vs. Spain – El Sadar Stadium, Pamplona, Spain
