How to Watch OL Reign Players at the Olympic Games

Five OL Reign players are set to represent their countries at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, kicking off in the early hours of the morning on Wednesday, July 21. These five players – Nicole Momiki, Angelina, Quinn, Rose Lavelle and Megan Rapinoe – are prepared to battle in Tokyo with the goal of bringing home the gold medal. For Momiki, Angelina and Lavelle, this is their first opportunity to represent their nation on the Olympic stage. 

In the group stage of the tournament, the twelve teams are divided into three groups – E, F and G. OL Reign is represented in each of the groups. Momiki and Quinn are representing Japan and Canada in Group E. Angelina is the lone Reign player in Group F with Brazil and Megan Rapinoe and Rose Lavelle are representing the United States in Group G of the tournament. 

Group E: Japan (Momiki), Canada (Quinn), Great Britain, Chile 

Group F: China, Brazil (Angelina), Zambia, Netherlands 

Group G: Sweden, USA (Lavelle, Rapinoe), Australia, New Zealand 

 

Following the conclusion of the group stage, the top two teams from each group move onto the quarterfinals, as well as the top two third place teams from Group E, F or G.
