Angelina Called Up to Brazil Women’s National Team for Last FIFA Window in 2021

Brazil Women’s National Team head coach Pia Sundhage has named 23 players to Brazil’s roster for the three international matches to be played as part of the International Women’s Football Tournament in Manaus, Brazil. Brazil will take on India, Venezuela and Chile. 

Brazil’s roster includes OL Reign midfielder Angelina. This is Angelina’s fifth senior call up. Since receiving her first call up this year, she has become a regular in the Brazil squad. Most recently Angelina was called up to the team for the October FIFA international match window, where she played 90 minutes in Brazil’s 2-2 draw against Australia. 

The No. 7 ranked Brazil Women’s National Team plays their first of three matches during this FIFA international match window on Thursday, November 25 against No. 57 ranked India. The team then plays again on Sunday, November 28 against No. 56 Venezuela. To end the international window, Brazil will take on No. 37 ranked Chile on Wednesday, December 1. These matches serve as preparation for the CONMEBOL Copa América Women 2022.
