Player Loan Updates – Week of 8/31
Four OL Reign players out on loan saw time for their respective clubs over the past week. Here’s how their sides fared:
Jess Fishlock started and played 90 minutes for Reading FC in a 6-1 road loss to Arsenal to begin the FA Women’s Super League season. The 2012 FA WSL Player of the Year and four-time NWSL Best XI selection faced off against former OL Reign teammates Steph Catley and Kim Little in the match.
Lauren Barnes started and played the full 90 minutes for Kristianstads DFF in a 3-2 road win over Piteå on Sunday.
Quinn played 90 minutes for Vittsjö GIK in a 1-0 road win against Uppsala on Saturday.
Machaela George made her Elitedivisionen debut for Fortuna Hjørring on Saturday, starting and playing 70 minutes in a 1-0 road loss to HB Køge.
Darian Jenkins was on the bench for Bordeaux but did not appear in the club’s 4-4 draw against Stade de Reims on Saturday.
