OL Reign Announces Schedule for NWSL Challenge Cup Preliminary Round

The National Women’s Soccer League determined the schedule for the preliminary round of the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup today by random draw. OL Reign secured the eighth position, establishing the club’s schedule for the first phase of the competition.

OL Reign will begin the preliminary round with a match against Sky Blue FC on Tuesday, June 30, before facing the Washington Spirit on Saturday, July 4 and the Utah Royals on Wednesday, July 8. The club will finish the preliminary round with a match against rivals Portland Thorns FC on Sunday, July 12.

The top eight teams will advance to the quarterfinals, beginning the knockout phase of the competition. The final will be played at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah on Sunday, July 26.
