Reign FC Acquires First Round Pick in 2020 College Draft

Reign FC today announced that it has acquired the ninth overall pick in the 2020 NWSL College Draft in a trade with the Chicago Red Stars. In exchange, Chicago will receive Reign FC’s natural third round pick in the 2020 draft and its natural first round pick in the 2021 draft.

In addition to the ninth overall pick, Reign FC also holds the 33rd overall selection in the fourth and final round.

The NWSL College Draft will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland on Thursday, January 16, beginning at 8:00 a.m. PT. The draft will be streamed live on the league’s Facebook and Youtube channels, as well as the league website.
