Reign FC Announce Series of Initiatives for Seattle-Based Supporters
Reign FC has announced a series of initiatives designed to deepen connections between Reign FC and its Seattle-based supporters.
First, the club shared that it will hold its second Seattle-based open training session on Sunday, May 12 (the time and specific location will be announced next week). The open training sessions are a family-friendly opportunity for Reign FC fans to get an up-close experience with the team, including a behind-the-scenes look at how the team prepares for matches. At the conclusion of each session fans will have the chance to grab selfies and autographs from players.
Second, Reign FC announced that longtime pub partner The Atlantic Crossing Pub will continue to serve as the primary Seattle-based location for supporters 21 and over to watch Reign FC’s home and away matches. The first event will be held this Sunday, April 14 at 3:00 p.m. PT in conjunction with Reign FC’s opening match of the season against the Houston Dash. Fans are also invited to attend a Reign Rally on Friday, April 19 from 7:00 p.m. PT to 9:00 p.m. PT, in advance of Reign FC’s home opener at Cheney Stadium on Sunday, April 21 against the Orlando Pride. The Atlantic Crossing Pub is located at 6508 Roosevelt Way NE in Seattle.
Third, Reign FC announced that the club has partnered with Rally Bus and Starline Luxury Coaches to provide Seattle-based fans with an alternative transport option to Cheney Stadium for home games in 2019.
Round-trip tickets on the bus cost $25. Fans may go to rally.co/reign-fc to buy tickets or learn more.
“We’re very excited to announce our partnership with Rally Bus and Starline for the upcoming season,” said Reign FC associate general manager Brynn Baker. “Taking care of our supporters in Seattle has been a priority for us in our transition to the South Sound, and we think that providing alternative transportation options to matches is a good step towards that goal.”
Buses to Cheney Stadium will have three pickup locations—or Rally Points—in the Seattle area: Northgate Mall, King Street Station and Southcenter. Buses will drop riders off at Cheney Stadium approximately one hour prior to kickoff and depart 30 minutes after the final whistle.
Rally Bus riders may bring their own food and beverages (including alcohol) for rides down to Cheney Stadium. However, please note that Cheney Stadium policies do not allow fans to bring outside food or beverages into the stadium.
Reign FC begin their NWSL season on the road against the Houston Dash this Sunday, April 14. Reign FC will play their first match at Cheney Stadium on Sunday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m. PT against the Orlando Pride. Tickets to all 2019 home matches are available for purchase via Ticketmaster or by visiting ReignFC.com.
