Reign FC Announce Full 2019 Preseason Schedule

Earlier today, Reign FC announced its full 2019 preseason schedule. Reign FC players will report to training camp at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma beginning March 1, 2019.

The club will hold its first training session on March 4, prior to a series of friendly matches against college and NWSL teams slated for mid-March through early April. 

On Saturday, March 16, Reign FC will travel to Norco, CA to take on the UCLA Bruins. Last season, UCLA advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals before falling to first-ranked North Carolina to end their 2018 campaign. The match will kick off at 12:00 p.m. PT at SilverLakes Soccer Complex. Reign FC’s next match will be at the Thorns Spring Invitational in Portland, Oregon, hosted at the University of Portland by Portland Thorns FC. Along with Reign FC and Thorns FC, the Chicago Red Stars and the U.S. U-23 WNT will compete.

Reign FC’s first two matches vs. the U.S. U-23 WNT and the Chicago Red Stars will be open to the public and will not require a ticket to attend. Tickets to Reign FC’s match against Portland Thorns FC on Saturday, March 30 will be made available on www.thornsfc.com beginning Tuesday, March 19 at 10am PT.

 The club’s final pre-season test will come on Friday, April 5 against the University of Washington women’s soccer team. Play kicks off at 7:30pm at Husky Soccer Stadium on UW’s campus. Admission will be free and open to the public.
