Reign FC W-League Round Up – Week 4

The Australian W-League wrapped up its fourth week of play on Saturday, December 7. Six Reign FC players saw the pitch for their respective sides.

Celia Jiménez Delgado scored in her W-League debut, firing in a hard-hit shot from outside the right post for Perth Glory in a 2-1 loss to the Newcastle Jets on Saturday, December 7. Jiménez Delgado and teammate Morgan Andrews both played the full 90 minutes in the loss.

Lauren Barnes, Steph Catley, and Lydia Williams all started for Melbourne City in a 2-1 win over Sydney FC on Saturday, December 7. Catley completed 37 of her 44 passes, won two tackles and won five of her seven duels. Barnes won three of her four tackles and made five clearances, while Williams made three saves in the win.

Darian Jenkins played 73 minutes for Melbourne Victory FC in a 1-1 draw against the Western Sydney Wanderers on Friday, December 6. Jenkins recorded one shot on target before making way for Rosie Sutton in the second half.
