Player Loan Updates – Week of 8/24

Japanese international forward Nicole Momiki was injured in the 18th minute of her first match with Linköping on August 23 and was subsequently diagnosed with a stress fracture in her left foot. The estimated recovery timeline means that Momiki will be unable to make any further appearances with Linköping this season. Momiki is expected to be ready for pre-season training with OL Reign.

In addition to Momiki, OL Reign has five additional players on loan with teams in Europe. Here’s how their sides fared over the past weekend:

Lauren Barnes started and played the full 90 minutes for Kristianstads DFF in a 1-0 win over Göteborg FC on Saturday, August 29.

Rebecca Quinn subbed on at the hour mark and played the final 30 minutes for Vittsjö GIK in a 3-1 win over Växjö DFF on Sunday, August 30, marking her debut with the Swedish club.

Machaela George did not appear on the matchday roster for Fortuna Hjørring in their 1-0 victory over  KoldingQ on Saturday, August 29.
