Player Loan Updates – Week of 11/16

Two OL Reign players out on loan saw time for their respective clubs over the past week. Here’s how their sides fared:

In England, Jess Fishlock started and played the full 90 minutes for Reading FC in a 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion in the group stage of the  FA Women’s League Cup on Wednesday, November 18.

In France, Darian Jenkins subbed on for Bordeaux in the 51st minute, replacing teammate Maelle Garbino in a 1-0 road win against Paris FC on Sunday.

Celia Jiménez Delgado was not on the 18-player matchday roster for Olympique Lyonnais’ 1-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain on Friday.

Due to an ongoing COVID-19 outbreak in Denmark, matches for Machaela George’s Fortuna Hjørring and the rest of the league remain postponed—including the quarterfinal round of the Danish Women’s Cup.

Leagues around Europe will now halt play for the FIFA international break, which runs through December 1.
