All Eight Reign FC Players At World Cup Advance

With the United States’ 2-0 win against Sweden on Thursday, the bracket has been set for the knockout rounds of the Women’s World Cup in France. All eight Reign FC players have advanced to the Round of 16.

Australia will face Norway at the Allianz Riviera in Nice on Saturday, June 22 at 12:00 p.m. PT. Lydia Williams and Steph Catley started all three group stage matches for the Matildas, while Elise Kellond-Knight made one start and one appearance as a substitute.

England will face Cameroon at the Stade du Hainaut in Valenciennes on Sunday, June 23 at 8:30 a.m. PT. Jodie Taylor scored the game-winner against Argentina for the Lionesses in her only group stage appearance.

The United States will face Spain at the Stade Auguste-Delaune in Reims on Monday, June 24 at 9:00 a.m. PT. Celia Jimenez Delgado has made one appearances as a substitute for La Roja during the group stage. Megan Rapinoe scored a goal and added two assists for the U.S. in the group stages, while Allie Long made her World Cup debut as a substitute against Chile.

Japan will face the Netherlands at Roazhon Park in Rennes on Tuesday, June 25 at 12:00 p.m. PT. Rumi Utsugi is the only Reign FC player who has not appeared for her national team during the group stage of the tournament.
