Seattle Reign FC Goalkeeper Laurel Ivory Nominated for Save of the Week

Seattle Reign FC goalkeeper Laurel Ivory has been nominated for NWSL Impact Save of Week, presented by Deloitte. Ivory’s save in the 66th minute of the match was crucial in the Reign’s 2-1 victory over Sam Diego Wave FC. 

In her fourth regular season appearance and third regular season start, Ivory earned five total saves, setting a single-game career high. The highlight reel save stopped defender Kaitlyn Torpey’s shot from finding the upper corner of the goal and putting the Wave ahead in the match. 

Ivory is nominated alongside three other goalkeepers – Angel City’s DiDi Haracic, Portland Thorns FC’s Shelby Hogan and Houston Dash’s Jane Campbell.
